It's really hard to get a decent picture of me. So this is as good as it gets. You might as well know, I am so NOT photogenic. I believe it's inherited from my grandma and mom who still insist on making terrible faces when anyone points a camera at them. Bottom line: You won't be seeing many pictures of me.
I love:
First always: God, my Bible, my husband and kids, my families.
Chocolate. Books. My Nook.
Ocean waves. Mountains. Sunshine.
Thunderstorms.
Music - especially music with great words.
I dislike:
Sweating. Drooly dogs. Caleb's techno music.
Hot, humid summer days.
Cleaning. Folding laundry.
Arguing.
These guys, on the other hand, are the only reason we have a camera.
Here's Ethan! My almost 8 year old. He wishes he had a brother. =) He's smart and competitve and a hard worker.
Kylie is my fearless one. This is her holding some kind of GIANT grasshopper. At 5 1/2, she makes friends faster than anyone I've ever met and is super excited to start Kindergarten in the fall.
Here's Julia. She's three and very emotional and opinionated. This can be a dangerous combination. She will argue to the death over what seems to others to be insignificant details. But she's so compassionate. And she's so cute, you've gotta love her through the rough edges. =)
And Ava, the baby of the family. She's a happy show-off when she realizes she's the center of attention. She's so SILLY!
And here's the most recent pic of me and my hubby, Caleb. After 9 1/2 years of marriage and four kids, we are used to handling chaos. We work to get away every once in a while and have fun and relax - just the two of us. Here's our latest trip to the top of some Colorado mountain.
